The MULTI-FRAME stakeholder workshop was successfully completed in Norway.

The need for multiple uses of ocean space is increasing worldwide. How do we make it easier and more sustainable to achieve more of it?

Møreforsking, the Norway case study lead partner in the international research project MULTI-FRAME, arranged a local workshop in early January 2023. The workshop welcomed an exciting group of actors from the region of Møre og Romsdal in Norway, to share experiences and look at opportunities for different multi-use scenarios. 

"This was an exciting and useful meeting with knowledgeable and committed professionals from different industries. This is a good regional start, which we hope to highlight in all parts of the country. We look forward to the continuation," says Møreforsker and project manager Céline Rebours.

The participants had rich discussions and gained a much higher understanding of the potential benefits but also the risks and challenges, for the establishment of environmentally sustainable and financially profitable multi-use scenarios in Norway.
