Exploring the Future of Ocean Multi-Use: KTH Hosts Groundbreaking Workshop
The 17th and 18th of January saw KTH's Teknikringen 10B become the hub of innovation as experts from a range of stakeholder groups gathered to discuss the future of ocean multi-use. With 12 participants in person and an additional 6 joining online, the workshop was a true collaboration of minds. The two-day workshop was split into four key sessions, each exploring a different aspect of ocean multi-use. From the basics of what it is, to the opportunities and benefits, the constraints and risks, and finally, how to move forward with it in Sweden. Throughout the sessions, participants took part in interactive exercises using Google form questionnaires and online whiteboard software to map stakeholders and validate data. The meeting was recorded for future reference, ensuring that the knowledge shared will continue to inform and inspire. This workshop marks a pivotal moment in the journey towards a sustainable and innovative ocean future, as experts work towards finding solutions for the challenges and opportunities of multi-use in Sweden.
