To promote sustainability of the ocean multi-use concept, an Assessment Framework will be co-developed by the project partnership and stakeholders.

It will be designed to:

• Provide a customizable, modular structure for planners to determine which location and type of multi-use has the most potential for environmental, economic and social sustainability
• Incorporate stakeholder knowledge and needs through iterative engagement opportunities (e.g. surveys, focus group dialogues) to reflect real life experiences and generate indicators for assessment
• Build co-developed multi-use scenarios in the Case Studies, resulting in a fine-tuned approach
• Enable transferability of case study lessons learned through analysis and synthesis of findings.
